JOIN THE GARDEN MILTIA

Calling all garden warriors and super shovelers – this is a rally cry for your help! The summer of 2011 has been touted as “The Year of the Urban Gardener” in Fort Wayne, and the projects are piling high. We know your childhood dreams of being a superhero haven’t quite faded, so here’s your chance to embrace them. Ghandi once said “be the change you want to see in the world,” and we’re following that philosophy to the core – the apple core, that is.

The Garden Militia is FWUG’s corps of volunteers who aren’t afraid to get “down & dirty” in the garden. Your level of experience is irrelevant; as long as you don’t mind having a little dirt under your fingernails and getting some fresh air, we’ll enlist you.
